Step 1

Heavy bleeding and cramping are to be expected. Be sure to take it easy and keep a heating pad nearby to assist with the discomfort.
Be sure to stay hydrated and practice self care.
Repeat step 3 if no bleeding occurs within 24 hours.
Take Ibuprofen for pain, as needed.
Take the second Ondansetron (Zofran) pill in 4-6 hours, if needed.

Take the Mifepristone pill by mouth.

Wait 24-48 hours before taking the Misoprostol.
Take 1 Ondansetron (Zofran) pill 30 minutes before Step 3 to prevent nausea. Be sure to allow it to fully dissolve on your tongue.

Take 4 Misoprostol pills by placing them between your cheek and gums (buccally).
Let the medication sit there for 30 minutes.
After 30 minutes, swallow the remainder with a glass of water.
